Ethiopia - Comic Relief 2003
For Comic Relief's Red Nose Day 2003, Andy went on the road in Ethiopia, a country with a rich musical tradition, a troubled political past, and a looming humanitarian crisis.
For Comic Relief's Red Nose Day 2003, Andy went on the road in Ethiopia, a country with a rich musical tradition, a troubled political past, and a looming humanitarian crisis. He visited some of the Comic Relief-sponsored projects in Addis Ababa, including Street Symphony, which offers food, shelter and music coaching to homeless children, and he travelled to the south, which is facing a drought as severe as during the famine of 1984.
