There are few dance routines more complicated than that performed by the six-wired bird of paradise. He meticulously cleans away debris and leaf litter from his performance area, before beginning his spectacular dance. When an intruder threatens to spoil his routine, a fight begins between the rivals. But the owner of the court isn't put off and continues his dancing, flashing his irridescent gold and green neck plate as he moves his head from side to side.
