EastEnders -

What will Tanya do when confronted with more of Max's deceit? Whitney is finally forced to face what Tony did to her, and Bradley has to make a tough decision.

Tanya’s dumbfounded to find the bailiffs removing the contents of their house. Max claims it’s a misunderstanding. Phil arrives demanding his money and reveals the extent of Max’s debt problems: he’s bankrupt.

Tanya’s left stunned as Phil divulges how Max conned him and Peggy. Max scrambles to justify his actions, but finding out about Rachel’s loan is the last straw for Tanya.

With the bailiffs now at the salon, Tanya asks Max to reassure her that they can’t touch her business as it should be in her name. Max desperately tries to assure her that he’ll find the contract and sort everything out. With no sign of the contract, Tanya realises that Max lied about that too and announces she’s leaving him. Tanya packs up to leave with the children, but Abi refuses to leave Max. Max watches on desperately as Tanya drives away. He’s left broken.

Following Whitney’s outburst, Bianca sternly warns against persisting with her claim that’s Tony’s innocent. A hysterical Whitney claims she wants him to walk free.

Alone with Bianca, Whitney conveys her fear that perhaps she led Tony on. Bianca manages to convince her otherwise, urging her to tell the truth. Whitney returns to give her video evidence.

She’s grilled by Tony’s defence lawyer and it becomes evident that Tony’s portrayed her as a lying fantasist who pursued him. Whitney finally admits the truth; Tony raped and abused her. Tony protests his innocence, but Whitney stands firm.

Stacey relays her concerns that she may get sick again and she doesn’t want Bradley sacrifice things with Syd for her. He remains resolute and goes to see Syd to tell her. Syd tries to deter Bradley from making a mistake, imploring him not to hurt Noah. Bradley hesitates. Stacey’s doorbell rings. It’s Bradley: he’s chosen her.
