Kosovo declared independence 18 months ago, and has since been recognised by more than 50 countries. But how is it dealing with the challenges presented by its new status?

It's now some 18 months since the small Balkan state of Kosovo declared independence. That independence has been recognised by more than 50 countries, including the United States. But many more have withheld recognition, among them Serbia and Russia. Serbia's president said earlier this year his country would never give up its claim. So how has Kosovo faced the challenges presented by independence?
