Parasitic fungi attack
The bizarre and rapid growth of fungal parasites is shown to full effect and for the first time through timelapse. Digital stills of the ant's head were taken at intervals over three weeks and the resulting images sewn together on computer to create a seamless sequence. Tracking shots on a rotational head afford movement around the subject for added drama.
