This week Vernon Kay is joined by actor, writer and comedian Paul Whitehouse who’ll be taking us on his 10-song musical journey in this week’s Tracks of My Years.
Paul - who was a plasterer at the time - was inspired to give comedy a go after working with his friend from University Charlie Higson on a house that was shared by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. He first shot to fame appearing on Harry Enfield's Television Programme and went on to establish himself with the cult sketch programme β€œThe Fast Show”.

Paul has also appeared in a number of films including β€œThe Corpse Bride”, β€œAlice In Wonderland”, and β€œKing Of Thieves”, and since 2018 he has enjoyed huge success in β€œMortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing” with Bob Mortimer.

Paul's is set to go back into β€œOnly Fools And Horses The Musical”, which he co-wrote with Jim Sullivan, the son of the TV show’s creator John Sullivan. Paul starred as Grandad in the original West End cast when it opened in February 2019, and he is now reprising his role in the UK tour and we’ll be hearing about that throughout the week
