Born in the mountains of Malaga, Mabel burst on to the music scene in 2015 with her debut single Know Me Better. Her early efforts led to the breakthrough of Finders Keepers in 2017 which went Platinum, spending 5 weeks in the Top 10 and earning her a nomination for The Critics' Choice Award at the BRITs.
She's gone on to tour with stars including Harry Styles, and selling out her own dates around the world - including playing to a packed Wembley Stadium. Mabel is the daughter of music producer Cameron McVey, best known for his work with Massive Attack, Portishead, Sugababes and All Saints, while her mother is Neneh Cherry, who enjoyed chart success in the late 80's and early 90's with hits including Buffalo Stance, Woman and Manchild.
In 2019, Mabel achieved her biggest hit to date with Don’t Call Me Up, co-written by Steve Mac. The following year she was crowned Best British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards, and after 18 months away from music she made a triumphant return with the singles Vitamins, Chat and Female Intuition. Her Piano Room set features Don't Call Me Up, Vitamins and a reworking of Fleetwood Mac's Dreams.
