Jools and guests share their musical favourites.

Jools is joined by organist and composer James Taylor with music from Ravel, Mendelssohn and T-Bone Walker.

In a new show for Saturday lunchtimes, Jools shares his lifelong passion for classical music, and the beautiful connections with jazz and blues. With fascinating guests each week, who bring their own favourite music and occasionally perform live in Jools's studio.

Today, Jools's choices include music by Massenet, Scarlatti and Howard Skempton, with performances by Nora Fischer and T-Bone Walker. His guest is organist, composer and bandleader James Taylor who talks about falling in love with the Hammond organ and joining a choir to learn about harmony. He performs with Jools on the studio organ and introduces music by Bach, Beethoven, Ravel and Mendelssohn.
