Scotland's new Makar Peter Mackay, whose appointment was announced this week, talks about how he intends to shape the role over the next three years.

Heidi Talbot, who won Composer Of The Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards 2023, and who over her 20-year career has worked with artists including Graham Coxon of Blur, Idlewild and many more.

And Boo Hewerdine, who for over 30 years has been considered one of the UK鈥檚 finest singer-songwriters. He was lead singer of influential band, The Bible, worked as a solo artist and is a long-time collaborator with the incredible Eddi Reader. He鈥檚 won an Ivor Novello award, and over a hundred of his songs have been covered by the likes of K D Lang, Kris Drever, and Chris Difford.
