Experts Thomas Forrester and Irita Marriott lead two teams around an antiques fair in Naseby, before their items are sold at auction in Wiltshire.

How do you spot a fake matchday souvenir from the real thing? That’s the question puzzling Christina Trevanion when she checks out a collection of football programmes.

Will it be a game of two halves for the teams on today’s episode in Naseby, Northamptonshire? Hoping to take home the trophy are mother and son Sue and Martyn, skippered by Thomas Forrester. Their opponents in blue are father and daughter Edwin and Kathryn, guided by Irita Marriott.

With 60 minutes on the clock and three items to buy, each team is keen to get stuck in. Irita isn’t impressed with a cracked toy tractor and doesn’t think a Chinese drinking bowl will serve up a profit. Meanwhile, Thomas’s attention is drawn to a fez hat in a toleware tin, but Sue isn’t brimming with enthusiasm.

At Tim Weeks’s auction in Wiltshire, the bidders are eager to snap up the teams’ items, so could it all come down to a battle of the bonus buys?
