Darren Harriott v Anthea Turner
Anthea Turner and Darren Harriott are with auctioneer Phil Serrell and dealer Ishy Khan in Cambridgeshire. The mighty 1966 Mustang is their chariot of choice.
National treasure Anthea Turner goes up against fresh-faced buddie and antique newbie Darren Harriott in their mighty 1966 Mustang. They join iconic auctioneer Philip Serrell and jewellery superstar Ishy Khan on a tour of Cambridgeshire, looking for treasures to make the biggest win at auction.
Anthea’s excitable effervescence and previous road trip tricks ensure a very mixed bag of goodies, from a mid-century dressmaker’s mannequin and a dainty pair of Tiffany grape scissors to a Soviet air raid siren and a soumac rug. Meanwhile, Darren and Ishy go all out, scooping up toy soldiers, a hat stretcher, fancy firedogs and a Japanese pagoda-style lantern.
