Corazon, the eater of the Calm-Calm Fruit who can actually talk in contrast to what everyone thinks, tells Law that Law is a member of the fated family of 鈥淒鈥�, who are said to be the archenemies of the gods, hence the Celestial Dragons. Law threatens to tell Doflamingo about Corazon鈥檚 secrets but later decides not to, much to Corazon鈥檚 relief. Then Corazon kidnaps Law to take him to hospitals around the world in order to find a cure for his disease. He also mentions Vergo, the first Corazon, who is now separated from the Family on a secret mission. Meanwhile, at Marine headquarters, a new Marine called Vergo is transferred to the G-5 base. It is also revealed that Corazon is an undercover Marine officer reporting directly to Admiral Sengoku. Corazon and Law travel around the world for six months, only to be shunned by hospitals and the doctors. Corazon is heartbroken by Law鈥檚 predicament and cries for him in pity. Law accidentally witnesses his tears and starts opening up to him.
