Shepton Mallet 2
One team has the win sewn up at an antiques fair in Shepton Mallet as Christina learns about the colourful history of American quilts.
Settle down for a transatlantic episode of the show as Christina Trevanion visits a museum with an historic collection of American quilts. She goes behind the scenes at the American Museum near Bath to learn how US pioneers turned an item of bed linen into an art form.
How will things unfold for the teams in Shepton Mallet? Caroline Hawley is guiding the reds, married couple Hazel and Peter, who plan to 'win big and go home'. They’re up against the blue team, sisters Emma and Rachael, who say they’re 'good at spending money'. Trying to keep up with them is Thomas Forrester!
The sisters soon spot a tantalus, but when Thomas reveals the decanters inside, they’re not tantalised by their condition. Meanwhile, Peter and Hazel have an eye for pricey pooches, rejecting a model of a French bulldog on wheels and a duo of bronze dogs! At the auction, one expert ends up in the doghouse – but which one?
