They were turned into toys by a Devil Fruit user who Doflamingo brought to the island ten years ago when he became king. In Tontatta Kingdom, the dwarves get ready for the final battle against Doflamingo to save their princess and friends who are held captive in the 鈥渟ecret鈥� factory. They are grateful that their legendary hero, Uso-land, has come to their aid.
