In the women’s keirin, Great Britain’s Emma Finucane will try and get the better of her New Zealand foe Ellesse Andrews. The Kiwi claimed golds at the Paris Olympics in both the keirin and sprint, with Finucane having to settle for bronze in both events.
In the men’s elimination event, Great Britain’s Ethan Vernon is the defending champion, while five-time Olympic gold medallist Harrie Lavreysen of the Netherlands is the reigning champion in the sprint. Also decided this afternoon are the men’s madison and the women’s points race. Can the British team end the championships by bettering their tally of nine medals from 2023?
Jill is joined by 11-time World Championship gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy, while commentary is provided by Simon Brotherton and Chris Boardman.
