The Kung Fu Dugong turns out to be Luffy's apprentice from Alabasta. With Chopper's interpretation, he explains that he and his group of sea animal pirates were captured by Breed and are now enslaved by him. Then Breed appears before them. He explains that he is the user of the Peto-Peto Fruit and can control all living things by putting a green collar on them. He puts one on Chopper and makes him attack Luffy and Law. He also manages to put one on Luffy and Law when they turn their attention away for an instant.

Breed sees Chopper after he comes out of Monster Boost, goes gaga over him, and dresses him up in cute clothes. Then he puts Luffy and Law in a circus-like arena and orders to them fight each other to death without the use of their Devil Fruit powers. Luffy and Law can't help but start a fierce battle. The anguished Kung Fu Dugong implores Breed to set them free. Breed agrees but instead orders Dugong to kill Luffy and Law. Dugong is forced to attack Luffy and Law and finally sends them flying into the sea.
