Author and singer-songwriter Malachy Tallack talks about his brand new Shetland-set novel, which is out today. It’s called That Beautiful Atlantic Waltz, and Malachy has written an accompanying album.

Emma Inglis, the curator of a new exhibition that showcases textile art from National Trust of Scotland properties, explains how the exhibition lets us see how fashions in home dΓ©cor were influenced by the development of industry, who was on the throne, and who had influence in the domestic sphere.

And this month Edinburgh is celebrating 20 years of being the world’s first UNESCO City of Literature, with a conference happening in the city this week. Interim Chair of the Trust, Gerald Richards, joins Len to tell us why this designation is meaningful for the city and its residents.
