In Mermaid Cove, Ishilly and two other mermaids inadvertently release Caribou from the barrel and get captured. Franky goes off to look for Tom鈥檚 relatives, and Robin starts investigating the history of Fishman Island. Meanwhile, Luffy and the others are taken to Ryugu Palace by Neptune and Hoe, his pet whale. On the way, Neptune informs them that Zoro is already at the palace and explains how Fishman Island gets light and air from the sacred Sunlight Tree Eve. When they arrive at the palace, Luffy wanders off by himself and ends up in a dark tower with a giant mermaid.
