As he carries the unconscious Luffy toward safety, Jinbe also renews his determination to protect him. Akainu, who was last seen falling into the crevasse Whitebeard’s power created, reappears and attacks Jinbe and Luffy, but Ivankov and Inazuma come to their rescue. Then Blackbeard’s crew covers Whitebeard’s corpse with a black cloth, announcing the start of the greatest show on earth. Blackbeard goes under it and comes back out after a while with Whitebeard’s quake powers.
