Luffy and his team continue to battle the Marines in order to advance forward. Whitebeard plays on Buggy鈥檚 vanity and manipulates him into teaming up with him in the war against the Marines. Moria tries to stop Luffy again but is challenged and beaten by Jinbe. Luffy is attacked by Smoker and is rendered powerless against his Seastone-tipped jutte, but an infuriated Hancock comes to his rescue. Meanwhile, Ivankov is puzzled as to why his old comrade Kuma keeps attacking him but finds out from Doflamingo that the Kuma he used to know is dead.
