Before Luffy and his team started falling from the sky, they learned that the Marines are moving Ace’s execution up, ahead of schedule. After they crash down onto the battlefield, Crocodile attacks Whitebeard, but Luffy stops him using Gear Second. Whitebeard warns Luffy that a kid like him could lose his life in the war, but Luffy yells back at him, claiming he’s the one who’s going to be the Pirate King and the one to save Ace.
