Wales and West: Pontypridd
The second heat comes from Pontypridd in the heart of the south Wales valleys, where Louie McLean, Suri Ashish, Sarah Roberts, Paul Hilleard and Josh Harvey as Bernard Guff take to the stage.
We’ve travelled to the heart of the south Wales valleys to Pontypridd and Y Muni, a multipurpose, fully accessible live music and comedy venue. Louie McLean, Suri Ashish, Sarah Roberts, Paul Hilleard and Josh Harvey as Bernard Guff will take to the stage in a bid to impress our judges and book their place in the final.
Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean is our host for this heat. Joining her is our panel of judges, actor and comic Spencer Jones, and Hannah Moulder, producer of the award-winning Juice on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three. Head judge Babatunde Aleshe completes the trio.
It’s not going to be easy for them to pick a winner from the five new comics performing. With only five minutes of stage time, the sets are jam-packed with jokes and cutting-edge material, but only one can go through to the grand final in November at Birmingham’s historic Alexandra Theatre.
