Limavady’s Elodie Bateson wows at Translink’s Grand Pianist final. The talented 14-year-old is completely blind and learned to play piano through a special technique developed by a teacher in Chicago called ThEary. Local writer Noel Russell joins Phil Taggart in studio to discuss his new book which details the significant role that Derry played when hundreds of Viennese Jews escaped Nazi Prosecution by fleeing to Northern Ireland. The Bounce Festival continues and in studio we have composer Amble Skuse and visual artist Boško Begović ahead of their event in The Nerve Centre.
