Published on 3rd October, 'A Thousand Threads' is Neneh's first memoir. Telling the story of her life from the very beginning, it follows the legendary singer from childhood growing up in rural Sweden to life in New York, her start in music, her debut on Top of the Pops and rise to stardom to becoming a mother. Neneh found global success in 1988, with her debut single Buffalo Stance. She has gone on to release six critically acclaimed studio albums, won two BRIT awards, been nominated for a Grammy and collaborated with the likes of Cher, Michael Stipe, Robyn, Peter Gabriel, Gorillaz and Massive Attack.

To celebrate the publication of her memoir, Neneh Cherry joins Jo live in the studio.
