Builth Wells 16
Izzie Balmer and Kate Bliss skipper two teams of avid antiques hunters at Builth Wells fair in mid-Wales.
There’s a saying that 'where there’s muck there’s brass.' In today’s show, Danny Sebastian meets a farmer and collector of horse brass who has an incredible 5,000 pieces! Meanwhile, two teams try to earn some brass of their own by hunting for three profitable items at Builth Wells antiques fair in mid-Wales.
Skippering them are experts Kate Bliss and Izzie Balmer. On Kate’s team are mother and daughter-in-law Sandra and Rachel, who picks up a Victorian boot scraper, but would it scrape a profit at auction? Over with the blues, Izzie, Dale and Dave steer a course for an old ship’s wheel. And the team makes a surprising discovery when they find a picture of Bargain Hunt’s very own Eric Knowles inside an art deco-style teapot!
In Royal Wootton Bassett, auctioneer Gareth Wasp is on the rostrum as drama and excitement unfold in the saleroom.
