Episode 2
Cari searches for a teenager armed with a knife. Sophie makes her first arrest after spotting a man taking drugs. Christian comes to the rescue when a tree falls on a car.
At just 21, Cari is the youngest of the rookies. She always wanted to be a police officer but never thought it was something she could do until her mum shared an advert for new recruits with her. How will she cope when a call comes in to track down a teenager who has been threatening people with a knife? Every year, Gwent Police receive over 400 calls involving knives. This time, a forced entry to the teenager’s flat reveals a frightening haul of weapons.
Mum of four and former business owner Sophie is juggling her new career with a busy family life. Tonight she’s on a 12-hour shift called a Super Noon. As Sophie and her tutor patrol Newport’s city centre, she spots a man taking drugs and Sophie helps chase the man down before making her first arrest.
Ex-law student Christian has to keep cool, calm and collected when a storm hits the Chepstow area and a call comes in that a fallen tree has crushed a car. As Christian arrives at the scene, things look far worse than he expected.
