Reclaiming Friday the 13th
Why females have actually 13 moon cycles versus a 12-month calendar and why Friday the 13th shouldn't be a day to fear.
Tomorrow is Friday the 13th - when we are told to avoid walking under ladders, avoid black cats and other superstitions associated with the day. But why is the day - Friday - and the date - the 13th - all about bad luck?
There's even a special word for the fear of Friday 13th - paraskevidekatriaphobia. Lynette has the fear of trying to pronounce that word...!
Well one woman who wants to reclaim and reframe Friday 13th is Kitty Maguire - she is a menstrual mentor and also works in womb sovereignty and feels that there is much more to the day than we believe.
And we find out about a brand new dance show being premiered in Belfast next week "Nobodaddy" as part of the Belfast 2024 celebrations.
Nobodaddy is the new work from the internationally acclaimed dance and theatre company Teac Damsa - created by the multi award wining choreographer Michael Keegan Dolan.
Plus loads of great music including Sam Amidon's incredible version of "As I Roved Out", plus there's a bit of Madonna and Chappell Roan.
to tell us more, two members of the cast join us fresh from rehearsals today .. dancer Ryan O'Neill - who is from Belfast
and American folk singer Sam Amidon.
