Mina Smallman on faith, the murder of two of her daughters, and her activism. A review of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ doc America's New Female Right, exploring young influencers promoting anti-feminism.

The richness of Roma culture in Scotland is being celebrated at a two day festival, The Ando Glaso Roma Fest, in Glasgow later this week. Cathy Macdonald finds out more with János Lang, the festival’s Creative Director & founder.

Last month a young Scots runner followed in the footsteps of sporting legend Eric Liddell by defying the odds and winning a race of his lesser preferred distance, because of his Christian belief of not competing on a Sunday. Cathy speaks to Luke Davidson about his faith and how it influences his sporting career.

Emeritus The Venerable Mina Smallman, a former Archdeacon of Southend and the first woman of colour to be appointed into the role by the Church of England, shares the heart-breaking story of two of her daughters brutal murder in a North London park. She talks about her faith, grief, and why she has dedicated her life to activism.

Between 9 and 10am, Cathy is joined by Broadcaster and academic, Mona Siddiqui; Philip Blackledge, Rector of Holy Trinity, Melrose; & Candida Moss, Professor of Theology at the University of Birmingham.

They discuss the Paralympics in Paris which provide an opportunity for athletes with disabilities to showcase their skills on the world stage. But how much does the event challenge perceptions of disability and raise awareness of issues surrounding it?

Up for review is an eye-opening Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ documentary, America's New Female Right, which examines the phenomenon of young women who are championing extreme views, including the promotion of anti-feminism, on social media.

And following years of sibling rivalry, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have announced the reunion of Oasis. But what does it take to mend a broken relationship? Cathy and her guests discuss reconciliation and forgiveness.
