The Revd Eryl Parry
A service led by the Revd Eryl Parry, pioneer priest at Bangor archdeaconry.
The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
A service led by the Revd Eryl Parry; a Pioneer Priest for the Church in Wales in the Conwy Valley whose ministerial rΓ΄le is to develop new worshipping communities. One such initiative is βWorship in the Wildβ β a contemplative walking church that meets to worship God in the outdoors, as well as a monthly service at a small ancient church high up in the hills. In todayβs service, Eryl explores an idea that has become important in their thinking: that of βbelongingβ β whether itβs to a place, a community or even to God.
Readings:
Verses from Psalm 139.
Romans 12: 4-8
βI like this churchβ an unpublished poem by Andrew Rudd, broadcast with the authorβs permission.
Hymns and songs include βJust as I amβ, βOne is the bodyβ and βI heard the voice of Jesus sayβ.
