Cariad Lloyd celebrates Olivia Colman Day with two 4 Extra debuts.

Olivia Colman Day is the nation's newest national holiday, in which people up and down the land celebrate the actor Olivia Colman.

Across Radio 4 Extra on Monday 26th August, Cariad will pick choice programmes from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archives, and hear from Colman's friends, fans and colleagues.

In this first section, we hear two Radio 4 Extra Debuts starring Olivia:

"Childs Play" is a pilot last broadcast in 2009 on Radio 4, set in a nursery and written by Lucy Clarke.

"Well That's One Way of Looking at It" was first broadcast in 2004, and is a comedy of self deception about a wife, a husband, and his mistress.

Plus Cariad chats to the comedy writer and Colman super-fan Mollie Goodfellow about her love of Olivia Colman, and we'll hear how Greg James' Radio 4 programme Rewinder celebrated Olivia in 2022.

Olivia Colman Day is produced by Chris Pearson.
