β€˜Green finance’ is a bit of a buzz word - but there are barriers for smaller farmers who want to attract private money for.

β€˜Green finance’ has become a bit of a buzz word for conservation groups and land managers who want to tap into private money to fund nature recovery. But there are barriers for smaller farmers who want to get involved. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust has just been awarded nearly a hundred thousand pounds by Natural England to try and tackle that by working with farmers to help them become β€œinvestment ready”.

Is this the UK's most romantic field? A farm in Essex has diversified into growing flowers confetti!

And we hear how a lack of homes for local people, an ageing population, poor public services and poverty are difficulties shared by many of the UK's rural coastal communities.
