Members of the Franky Family, ship dismantlers and part-time bounty hunters, try to steal the two suitcases each holding 100 million berries, but shipwright Paulie accidentally hijacks their Yagara Bull when he is running away from debt collectors. Paulie tries to flee with the money but is stopped by another shipwright, Lucci, a ventriloquist who has a pigeon speak for him. With their money back, Luffy, Nami, and Usopp are shown into Dock 1 of Galley La Company. They are awestruck by its grandness and Iceberg鈥檚 popularity with the shipwrights. But while Usopp is admiring a cannon, the men from Franky Family sneak up on him again and attack him. A shipwright finds the two suitcases Usopp was holding and returns them to Luffy and Nami, who notice that Usopp is gone. Then Kaku returns to the dockyard from inspecting the Going Merry and informs Luffy and Nami that she is irreparable.
