Great Britain won their first Olympic women’s team gymnastics medal in almost a century in Tokyo, but it will be a tough task repeating that feat in Paris where they will be without star performer Jessica Gadirova, who is recovering from a serious knee injury.
It’s the qualifying stage of the exciting men’s BMX freestyle, with British world champion Kieran Reilly aiming to book his place in the final. We’re also getting towards the business end of the women’s rugby sevens, where Great Britain will be hoping to be in the semi-finals for the third games in a row.
Also taking place is tennis, boxing and judo, in which British number one Lucy Renshall has medal hopes in the women’s -63kg category.
Presented by Hazel Irvine.
