Wetherby 17
Two teams of friends do battle for profits, while Charlie Ross visits a historic collection of human, horse and elephant armour in Leeds.
Let battle commence! Charlie Ross visits the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds to see an impressive collection of human, horse and elephant armour.
Another battle (of the bargains) is taking place at an antiques fair in Wetherby, waged by two teams of friends. In the red corner, it’s pals Hannah and Verity, captained by Izzie Balmer. Their opponents in blue are boat fitters Giles and Huw, skippered by David Harper.
The blues make an early pit stop to look at old oil cans, but they go on the back burner. Meanwhile, the reds go potty over northern pottery and pick up a piggy vesta case, but they’re not sure it’ll bring home the bacon at auction.
Derby is the destination for the sale, where auctioneer Sean Devitt is on the rostrum. But which team will clinch victory?
