Thousands of prisoners will be released early from September to ease overcrowding in English and Welsh prisons. The plans were announced by Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, who blamed the previous Conservative government for the situation, calling it a "disgraceful dereliction of duty". We spoke to one prisoner who has just been released.
