Dame Tracey Emin

Tracey Emin has been made a Dame by King Charles. It's one of the highest accolades granted to those who have made a significant contribution to their field.

She came to public prominence as one in the group of Young British Artists in the 1980s. She is best known for her deeply personal works Everyone I Have Ever Slept With and My Bed. Once portrayed as the enfant terrible of the British art world, Tracey Emin has been made a dame by King Charles in his birthday honours list for services to art. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's culture editor, Katie Razzall, speaks to the artist about her life, career, surviving cancer and how it feels to be made a dame.
