Sniffing the ground with Wildlife Expert Chris Packham, a visit to Dogs Trust plus tackling terrapins and turtles!

AM & Rob see what goes into rehoming a dog at Dogs Trust. Chris Packham chats about everything wildlife and doggy-related, and did you have a terrapin in the 1990s?

Presenter, author and naturalist Chris Packham brings his vast knowledge to this weeks episode regaling the team with stories of foxes, birds and his lengthy career plus his love of miniature poodles Sid and Nancy. The conversation takes an unusual turn discussing whether to sniff the scents our dogs can smell and should you lick your pup!

Anne-Marie Wallace and vet Rob Adams travel to the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Ballymena in County Antrim where they take a tour of the state of the art premises with Manager Conor O'Kane. They meet the dogs looking for a lap to lean their heads on and find out about training classes and the canine care card available to animal owners.

Do you remember the terrible terrapin takeover? The team at Sealife London show Anne-Marie around the Aquarium to find out what ever happened to some of the little terrapins who outgrew their tanks in the 90s. She meets the 135kg turtle called Boris who is living like a king and an escape artist called Houdini.
