Elsecar 19
Charlie Ross saddles up for a show in Elsecar, South Yorkshire, where he learns about rocking horses. Experts Izzie Balmer and David Harper guide the red and blue teams.
Charlie Ross is in South Yorkshire, where he meets rocking horse collector, designer and restorer Anthony Dew. They chat about the long history of the toys right back to the very first rocking horse, said to have been made for King Charles I when he was a child back in 1605.
In Elsecar, two teams gallop around an antiques centre with their experts David Harper and Izzie Balmer, trying to find three items each to sell at auction. The red team, brother and sister-in-law Julian and Debbie, can’t stop picking up pottery. Meanwhile, father and daughter-in-law Andrew and Tammy spy some military goggles, but can they be sure how old they are?
Auctioneer Sean Devitt is on the rostrum in Derby, but can he deliver a profit for the teams?
