In the present, Mia drives a wedge between them, raising suspicions about Jo’s fiancé. Elsewhere, Mia needs convincing to pawn her expensive watch and save her dad Teddy from eviction. When she eventually buckles, she doesn’t get the reception she’d hoped for from her dad.
