This year marks 100 years since the first church service broadcast on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in 1924. In this week's Daily Service we'll be exploring the history of Daily Service - now in its 96th year.
Today's service comes from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's newest studio at Central Square in Cardiff, not far from where some of the earliest ever religious broadcasts were made a century and more ago. The service is led by Revd. Roy Jenkins, who has himself been broadcasting for 50 of those 100 years.
Music:
How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds (Saint Peter)
Immortal Invisible (Saint Denio)
And Can it Be? (Sagina)
