Marin Alsop conducts John Adams's acclaimed opera-oratorio, live at the Met in New York, with a cast including Julia Bullock and DavΓ³ne Tines - and a trio of countertenors. El NiΓ±o is a dramatic re-telling of the Nativity story, along with reflections on the wonders and tribulations of motherhood, incorporating sacred and secular texts in English, Spanish and Latin.
