Romesh Ranganathan chooses his final Tracks Of My Years

Radio 2's new Saturday mid-morning presenter Romesh Ranganathan chooses his final Tracks Of My Years. Plus there are final plays of Album and Record Of The Week.

Radio 2's new Saturday mid-morning presenter - comedian and actor Romesh Ranganathan - chooses the final songs that soundtrack his life on Tracks Of My Years.

Having taught maths at the secondary school he went to as a kid, Romesh left his job to start doing comedy full-time in 2011.

Since then, Romesh has appeared on countless panel shows, embarked on sold out UK tours and presented a variety of different shows, whether off round the world with his mum in β€˜Asian Provocateur’ or taking up the mantle of presenter of the iconic β€˜The Weakest Link’. He also writes and stars in the sitcom β€˜Avoidance’, a new series of which is on the way.

Romesh is currently on his nearly sold out UK tour, Hustle, which runs until the start of June. As well as presenting For The Love Of Hip Hop on Saturday mornings midnight – 1am, he’s also taking over from Claudia Winkleman on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 from 10am-1pm on Saturdays from April.

Romesh's final two tracks come from Public Enemy and Thundercat with Tame Impala.

There'll be more audio nuggets from the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Archive in Vernon's Vault; there are final spins of the Record and Album Of The Week and two more contestants try their luck in the mid-morning music quiz, Ten To The Top.
