Despite over 23 years as a duo, spontaneity and discovery remain at the heart of Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser and Californian cellist Natalie Haas’s extraordinary creative symbiosis. The cutting-edge duo took to the stage for Celtic Connections 2024 alongside Castilian band San Miguel Fraser - featuring Alasdair's son Galen Fraser & his wife Maria San Miguel, a native of Castile and graduate of Conservatorio Superior de Oviedo with deep family roots in the traditions of her homeland. This double header really gets to the heart of what Celtic Connections is all about.
