Marc Allum meets members of a local diving group and is intrigued to see a collection of First World War keepsakes salvaged from the wreck of the Kyrra, sunk by a German U-boat in May 1918, while Justin Croft sees a thrilling first-hand survivor’s account of a much earlier shipwreck.

Fiona finds out about the history of the Swanage lifeboat and the wider history of the RNLI, which is marking its bicentenary, and tries to put three ancient fossils in order of age in a quirky geological challenge set by Marc Allum.
