Author, comedian and TV personality Ruby Wax chooses her Tracks Of My Years. Plus De Ja Woo, Album and Record Of The Week, and more Ten To The Top.

Gary Davies is joined by comedian, author, actor and television personality Ruby Wax as she chooses the soundtrack to her life on Tracks Of My Years.

Born in Illinois but moving to the UK to study acting in Glasgow, Ruby began her career on stage as a straight actress, using her classical training in the five years she spent with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She then came to prominence on our TV screens when she starred in the sitcom ‘Girls On Top’.

From there, Ruby spent the 90s and early 00s fronting a variety of interview and talk shows, including ‘The Full Wax’, ‘Ruby’ and ‘The Ruby Wax Show’. Since then, Ruby has performed multiple stand up shows, gained a Masters degree in cognitive therapy, published multiple books and become an ardent mental health campaigner.

Ruby’s just about to publish the paperback of her latest book ‘I’m Not As Well as I Thought I Was’, which follows her struggles with mental health. She'll also be heading out across the nation with her one woman show of the same name which starts on 1st May.

Plus De Ja Woo, the Record and Album Of The Week, and the mid-morning music quiz, Ten To The Top.
