Radio 2 Piano Room - Anastacia

U.S superstar Anastacia performs for a one-off special Radio 2 Piano Room. And Radio legends Mark and Lard - AKA Mark Radcliffe & Marc Riley - choose their Tracks Of My Years.

Global pop queen Anastacia performs alongside the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra from ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Maida Vale as Radio 2's Piano Room returns for a special one-off event.

The 2001 'World's Best-Selling New Female Pop Artist', Anastacia is best known for her hits Left Outside Alone and I'm Outta Love. Speaking about appearing in the Piano Room she says, β€œI'm absolutely thrilled... it's an incredible opportunity to perform in such an intimate and unique setting, and I can't wait to share some musical magic with everyone there on Vernon’s mid-morning show."

Also, radio legends Mark and Lard - AKA Mark Radcliffe & Marc Riley - choose the songs that soundtrack their lives on Tracks Of My Years.

Hailing from Bolton and Manchester respectively, Mark Radcliffe (Mark) and Marc Riley (Lard) met on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 5 Live in the early 90s, when Radcliffe was presenting the show β€˜Hit North’. Riley started as a researcher before moving up the ranks and eventually joining Radcliffe as co-presenter.

The duo became known for their catchphrases, characters and comedy sketches when they transferred to Radio 1 in 1993, presenting the late-night weekday show before a stint on the Breakfast Show followed by years in the early-afternoon slot. The duo remained on afternoons till 2004, when they went their separate ways.

After two decades, Mark and Lard are reuniting for a special show live-streamed from The Bowden Rooms in Altrincham before bringing their β€˜An Audience With Mark & Lard’ to venues in the UK this Autumn.
