Oscars reaction, Teenage Kicks exhibition, Scottish Ensemble, Origin review

We hear about the lives of British teenage girls in the 60s; their experiences form the heart of a new exhibition at the Glasgow Women's Library, called Teenage Kicks.

Michelle is joined by film critics Anna Smith and Kambole Campbell to chat about what the results of last night’s Oscars ceremony tell us about film in 2024.

We hear about the lives of British teenage girls in the 60s, dreaming about a different kind of life from the one their mothers had; their experiences form the heart of a new exhibition at the Glasgow Women's Library, called Teenage Kicks. Illustrator Candice Purwin talks about bringing their stories to life through her images.

We look at a series of very different classical music concerts from Scottish Ensemble, where the musicians have worked with a choreographer to combine music and movement as they perform. Michelle speaks to choreographer Orjan Andersson, violinist Freya Goldmark and artist and musican Kirsty Matheson, who went along to experience one of the concerts.

We’ll be reviewing new film release Origin, a drama which tries to give us a new way of thinking about racism and how it divides us. Film critic Kambole Campbell joins Michelle.

And Michelle is joined by the artist behind our brand-new Single of the Week.
