Sixty-nine-year-old Margaret and her husband Graham do their best to eat a healthy diet They are vegetarian, and they try to look after themselves with regular exercise. Worried about their deteriorating eyesight, they tried some eye supplements. But they didn’t seem to have any effect. Are eye supplements worth the money, or an expensive con?
Julie from Colchester suffers from arthritis and was told she needed knee replacement surgery. Not only did her operation go badly, but she then discovered that she didn’t need to have it in the first place. Her surgeon was struck off for botching operations, not diagnosing infections, failing to consult colleagues and not obtaining patient consent.
Tongue scraping is a new fad on social media. The claim is that it helps improve your health by getting rid of anything nasty that may be sitting on your tongue. Should we all be doing it?
