Half an hour of the finest classical music
Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical music.
Tonight's Classical Mixtape takes us on a journey from Bernstein's Wonderful Town, solo JS Bach writing for piano, an arrangement of Vivaldi by Yo-Yo Ma, to a Schubert song played by Daniel Hope. Wind music by Holst leads to music by Chopin and Mendelssohn, and it ends with a flourish with the cimbalom taking centre stage in a Circus Galop played by the virtuoso percussionist Heather Corbett.
