Christina meets Theresa Manship, one of Britain’s biggest collectors of Midwinter Pottery to learn why it remains highly collectable today.

Hoping to brew up a profit at a fair at Uttoxeter Racecourse are two teams of families. In red, it’s father and son-in-law Simon and Heath, who are ‘happy to spend if the right item comes along’. Against them in blue are mother and daughter-in-law Jill and Kelly. They’re looking ‘for the hidden gems’.
